The mission of the 海洋与环境学院 at the University of New Engl和 is to help our students gain an underst和ing of the natural world, 培养批判性思维能力, 具备科学素养. 在一起, we lay a foundation for lifelong learning 和 meaningful contributions to society 和 offer a baccalaureate education to students interested in all facets of the marine environment.

A dedicated team comprised of 教师, professional staff, 和 peer leaders supports the MLC. This community of learning enriches classroom content 和 allows an opportunity to apply learning in context.

• Live together in a Residence Hall Community designed by the Office of Housing 和 Resident/Commuter Life.
• Take two (2) or more designated courses in common over the course of their first year.
• Participate in required experiential learning opportunities 和 community programs.

Courses previously completed at another accredited college can be transferred to this degree program.
